Worth Having a Look

A wonderful new design blog called ISDGN surfaced in Fall 2009. Not only well designed itself, but interesting creative content. Cool.

If you haven't had a good look through TED: Ideas Worth Spreading, you should. Philadelphia's local version is TEDxPhilly.

I've recently found Farhang Erfani's blog and bulletin board, Continental Philosophy, very useful. It serves both as a timely announcements list and archive of online resources for those interested in European philosophy and critical theory.

Henry Jenkins is the Director of MIT's Comparative Media Studies Program. After quite some time writing books on contemporary media and its reception, he finally launched a blog covering fan culture, media studies, online technologies and more.

BLDGBLOG is consistently one of the more interesting feeds I read. A mix of architecture, utopian conjecture and creative verve—it covers the built world, just not perhaps the way you might expect. [...and check out its "sister" blog Pruned for those interested in landscape architecture and other serious pastimes.]
