If you haven't had a good look through TED: Ideas Worth Spreading, you should. The May 2007 short demo of the new Photosynth software (aka Seadragon) shows a completely new way to browse and interact with photographic data. And it's really just the tip of the iceberg.

Henry Jenkins is the Director of MIT's Comparative Media Studies Program. After quite some time writing books on contemporary media and its reception, he finally launched a blog covering fan culture, media studies, online technologies and more.
BLDGBLOG is consistently one of the more interesting feeds I read. A mix of architecture, utopian conjecture and creative verve—it covers the built world, just not perhaps the way you might expect.
